Coach Rick Neuheisel had talked about bringing quarterback Ben Olson though he likely wouldn’t play against the Huskies. On second thought, the Bruins coaches decided Olson wouldn’t travel. According to a department spokesman, Olson did not travel because he is physically not ready to play yet.

Guard Brandon Bennett also did not make the trip, apparently because he won’t be needed.
