Coach Rick Neuheisel spent Monday in Georgia, not exactly the Bruins’ usual recruiting territory. But apparently Neuheisel’s trip went well, because rivals.com is reporting that UCLA has gotten a verbal commitment from defensive tackle Branden Waner from Compton College.
Warner (6-foot-2, 280 pounds) was back home in Atlanta for the holidays. He will visit UCLA this weekend along with 16 other potential recruits.
