UCLA football: Bruins land two commits

The UCLA recruiting class is now up to a dozen. Rivals.com reports the Bruins received a commitment Tuesday from three-star linebacker Eric Kendricks.

Last week UCLA received a commitment from three-star offensive lineman Kody Innes.

Kendricks (6-1, 215, Hoover High/Fresno) is the brother of Cal linebacker Mychal Kendricks — he returned an interception against the Bruins in their October meeting — and the son of Marv Kendricks, who played tailback for UCLA in the 70s.

Kendricks, who also plays tailback in high school, is the Bruins’ first linebacker commit in the class of 2010. They are set to lose senior starters Reggie Carter and Kyle Bosworth. Rivals ranks him the No. 57 outside linebacker in the nation.

Innes (6-5, 280, Saguaro High/Scottsdale, Ariz.) is the second offensive lineman in the Bruins’ upcoming class — Mater Dei OL Chris Ward is the other — and the only tackle. Rivals ranks him the No. 51 tackle in the nation.

“I really think that Coach Rick Neuheisel and the rest of the coaching staff are going to turn this team around,” Innes told Rivals. “I mean they have two great recruiting classes and I really think they are going to get this team back to where they should be. They are going to get there. I really know it.”

Great? How about mediocre classes! Congrats on landing more 3 stars. Looks like UW is going to beat you in the recruiting battle and maybe even Wazzu. But that’s ok, keep your false sense of hope in Neuweasel and broken down Chow. You should have a Heisman very soon…like in another 3 no, let’s say 5 decades. Thanks goodness for Twitter! At least we can hear how unhappy all the players are. Neuweasel, hurry up and get your Basketball Pool going again to try and boost morale with your team.

Flapn Marie - have fun at the Emerald “Nuts” Bowl. You sound like the typical adjustable rate trojie discontent with station in the Pac 10 world. You couldn’t afford Coach Rick’s Basketball Pool.

As I recommended before don”t even acknowledge “it” or “its” comments.
As to UCLA’s latest commits, congratulations. This list of recruits, with those STILL to commit, will end up in the top 10 in the nation for the second year in a row.
UCLA may not make a bowl game this year, even with 6 wins, however, what if UCLA wins its last 4 games, including crosstown rival SC? 7 wins would certainly get them an invitation and would enhance the recruiting for this year tremendously.

    PR-
Your right on but as I said, this is what “it” wants you to do- engage.
Ignoring shows a form of disrespect without actually disrespecting.
